Rectory Farm is situated on the outskirts of the small market town of Hingham, famous for its ancestral links with America and Abraham Lincoln. Hingham is an attractive town with a wealth of interesting buildings and a good selection of shops. The City of Norwich is approximately 15 miles away, with the peaceful North Norfolk coastline renowned for its bird life only a 45 minute drive away, as are the Royal Sandringham Estates, plus of course, the famous Norfolk Broads.
Linked to the racehorse training yard next door, the racehorses are often walked through Rectory Farm en route to their morning gallop.
Our campsite is strictly Adults only and is set in a quiet secluded area of Rectory Farm, perfect for a relaxing away for it all break.
Facilities include a new toilet and shower block, pitches with electric hook-up, tent pitches, drinking water taps, washing up area, laundry, fridge freezer, waste disposal point and picnic benches.
Willow Barn and Stable View are converted farm buildings both are family friendly cots and highchairs are available. Pets are welcome
Prices include linen, towels, heating, electric, WiFi and fishing for 2 people.
Willow Barn - a 2 bedroom barn conversion with 1 double and 1 twin bedroom sleeping 4 with the option of a fold away bed for an additional guest.
Stable View - a character property with exposed beams throughout it features a double and a single bedroom sleeping 3, with the option of a foldaway bed in the sitting room for an additional guest.
There are 2 lakes to fish at Rectory Farm stocked with Carp (Mirror, Common, Crucian), Tench, Roach, Rudd, Bream and Perch. Day tickets available for guests, visitors and the general public. Open all Year. - No night fishing
