We also have dog towels and a special tasty treat for your dog and a dog crate available on loan if required.

Guests are requested not to smoke in the Barn please.
Ollands Farm Barn was built in approximately 1709, an it has been lovingly restored to a very high standard. Beams feature throughout and a vaulted ceiling gives a great sense of space. The wood burning stove together with the central heating keep everything cosy on the coldest of days. Be aware that the paddle stairs although quaint, are steep.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with all the white goods you need, with tea towels, oven glove and apron all provided.
The back door leads directly to the covered veranda and secluded garden.
The main living area of the barn is furnished with comfortable sofas one of which converts to a double bed, warm wooden floor, antique dresser and dining area to seat four.
There is a TV and satellite and CD/DVD with surround sound home cinema system and a small DVD library, small novels library and a range of walking and local information books to help you make the most of your stay.
The ceiling in the bedroom is very low and the room is open to the living area and although there is a pull out sofa-bed downstairs, the barn is really more suited to a single couple or family.
The paddle stairs are very steep but easy to use once you have tried them. Most dogs are unable to negotiate them though.
In our luxury wet room you will find towels, luxury bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries.
The flint-walled courtyard and pretty garden at the rear are secure and dog friendly. The courtyard is shared with the main farmhouse - where we live but the rear Barn garden is totally private and secluded. It features wildlife pond, flower and shrub borders, rose arches and a range of climbing plants with a strong emphasis on fragrance. The flowers you find in the barn on your arrival are all grown in the gardens of Ollands Farm.
All the main supermarkets deliver to the barn which should you order a delivery on the day of arrival, let us know and we can put it all away for you. If you would rather have local food, We Love Local Food also deliver.
There are loads of dog friendly beaches as are most of the pubs. There are fantastic walks and woods in the vicinity to explore which means not only you will have a holiday to remember, but so will your four legged friends.
If there’s anything else you need to know before or after you book, please contact us and we will be delighted to help.
