The White Horse Crostwick
The White Horse is in the small village of Crostwick, which is only 5 miles from Norwich, for which we are often told by customers, is a nice short little drive in the country side to find us.
Nearby we have Costwick Lakes which is perfect for a spot of fishing, and for the animal lovers we have Frettenham animal sanctuary a short walk away, whose founder started the Redwing horse sanctuary.
For the last 27 years we have tried to keep the White Horse Crostwick a traditional pub, where our regulars can come and chat to the bar staff while sat on wooden stools, or for visitors to be welcomed as friends rather than strangers. Many of our customers have kindly donated trinkets and collectables which we have used to adorn our pub and gardens.
We have a lot of sources of entertainment, from our darts board, to our charity days and nights, we even have Morris dancing!
The pub has seen happy and sad times. This is a pub that many generations have enjoyed, with returning customers coming back after years to find the pub just the way they left it. We and very pleased to still have most of the same staff, with some being there as long as 27 years, so we must be doing something right!
