Yare Breaks riverside chalet is a delightful 3 bedroom bungalow lperfectly located on the banks of the River Yare in Brundall, providing spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests.
This privately owned riverside property has 34ft of river frontage providing a perfect base for a relaxing waterside holiday.
The chalet also provides an ideal base for bird watching. Neil Glenn, author of “Best Birdwatching Sites in Norfolk” says “Norfolk is rightly regarded by birdwatchers as the best county to visit in Britain to see birds. The real beauty of Norfolk is that there is a mouth-watering variety of bird species to admire, no matter what time of year you choose to come. From the spectacle of thousands of Geese in winter, the wonder of migrating species in spring and autumn to the array of breeding Waders and Warblers, you are guaranteed to see something special during your time in this very special county.” More recently we have also shared the water with a friendly otter - last spotted by the Wood family on the Quay Heading on New Years Day!
If bird watching or fishing is not for you - or like me you are a 'fisher widow' - the chalet offers a perfect opportunity to simply wind down, watching the passing Broads wildlife and river crafts. The sunsets are simply beautiful.
With two train stations Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are all within easy reach. There is also a good local bus service and many of the popular Broadland towns, villages and attractions are easily accessible by car for those looking to explore further afield.
