The Sea Marge Hotel is built on the clifftop at Overstrand, a lovely village near Cromer and a very popular destination for holidaymakers for over a hundred years.
Once a Grade ll listed house, Sea Marge has been beautifully restored and converted to a luxury family hotel with twenty five uniquely styled rooms offering every comfort, including glorious sea views and there are some deluxe suites.
There are plenty of places to relax in as you explore the five acres of well-tended gardens. Terraced lawns run down to the coastal path and open beach. You’ll find quiet suntraps for a lazy afternoon or a shady loggia for a pre-dinner drink.
We do have some rooms which are dog friendly and thee is a small charge for them. Please contact the hotel so we can check availability of a dog friendly room, these can not be booked or checked on line.
The Clement Scott bar sits under a vaulted timber roof with the stunning minstrels’ gallery running along two sides. Close to the bar is the Clementine Lounge with a ready supply of games. In fine weather the bar spills out on to the terrace overlooking the sea or the loggia facing the rose garden, giving you a choice of sun or shade.
Food at the Sea Marge holds 2AA rosette for culinary excellence and fine dining and you have a couple of venues to choose from - Frazer’s Restaurant or the Winston Room. Our chefs try to ensure that the food is seasonal and locally sourced. There is also a lovely selection of wine to go with whatever you choose to eat.
The Sea Marge Non residents are welcome for lunch or dinner. Please telephone 01263 579579 to reserve a table.
