Norfolk Coast

The Sunshine Coast

The Norfolk Coast offers something a little bit special and unique with its magnificent ever changing coastline, locally called the Sunshine Coast. Approximately ninety odd miles of sandy beaches, unique salt marshes and rolling countryside with panoramic skies give coastal Norfolk its distinctive flavour. The fishing and trading heritage of Norfolk has provided the county with seaside towns and quaint villages which nowadays offer the visitor not only fantastic ways to really experience the delights of the coast but but tempt all to stay a little longer with a wide range of accommodation, restaurants, cafes and pubs, shopping and entertainment.

Coastal Adventures

For those who are a little more adventurous the seas around Norfolk offer some great sports like sea fishing, seal watching and the more breath robbing, kite flying, jet skiing and scuba diving.

Nature

The Norfolk coast is well known for its exceptional nature reserves for any budding bird watchers and the Norfolk Heritage Coast Path is great for cycling (with local bicycle hire available), and walking to take in the beauty of the coastline.

Whatever the visitor, keen to explore and experience, the Norfolk Coast can supply in abundance, so deciding what to do first is very difficult.  Browse through the stories and articles below to give you an inkling of where you might start to experience the wonders of the Norfolk Coastline
